The Peterson
​I took the HVAC+R course in addition to the electrical code course to allow me to run my own wires from devices to panels. I graduated the HVAC+R course with 93%, certified "Universal", and placed on The Dean's Honor List. The Peterson told me that even at the top of the class with 93% & certified "Universal", my attention to detail and skill sets were more aligned with an electrician than an HVAC+R technician. As such, my electrical teacher who was the electrical inspector for the city of Arlington, MA at the time, hired me as an electrical apprentice for his personal business.
